Julie has been inspiring children, youth, and women as a speaker, teacher, silent retreat leader, author and mentor for over 35 years. She was the Director of Women's Bible Studies at Eagle Brook Church, is a certified Spiritual Director and the owner of Heart Matters Publishing Company. She is an alumnus of Bethel University and Christos Center for Spiritual Formation.

As an author she has written Bible Study Curriculum and Devotionals, including her latest collaboration, Discovering God in the Ordinary. Julie draws on her wide range of life experiences, humor and love of God's Word and His creation for her writing. When she is not writing, you will find her absorbed in a good book, puttering in her garden or dreaming of France.

Julie and her husband, Rey, live in White Bear Lake, Minnesota and are the parents of two grown sons.

Nicole is a stay-at-home mom of one, and is just returning to writing after a too-long hiatus. A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Philosophy, Nicole previously worked in the fields of journalism, advertising and marketing. Nicole is using her time at home to discern God's next path for her life and to spend as much precious time with her husband and daughter as possible! She is honored to be writing for Julie Miller and Heart Matters Publishing.

LuAnn Adams started her obsession with the written word at a very young age, pulling heavy Books of Knowledge off shelves and continuously pestering her mom to read. She was editor of her high school and college newspaper and then started writing for the college's PR/Communications Dept. She received her B.S. in Communications from the University of Northwestern St. Paul. After editing for businesses for several years, LuAnn decided to start freelance editing. She feels blessed to work hand in hand with Julie Miller and her team to help bring inspiration to all who seek to know our dear Savior more intimately. When not editing or writing, you will find LuAnn being taken on walks by her 100+ lb. Newfie mix, Mia, and side-kick, Daisy. She also enjoys connecting with family and friends, traveling, antiques and reading. LuAnn and her husband, Brent, reside in Hugo, MN, and are parents to two children, McKayla and Austin.
